1. Will the tapes for the 1980s Teddy Ruxpin work with the new Teddy Ruxpin?
In a word, no. The new Teddy Ruxpin is made with digital technology and uses small cartridges, the original tapes will not
work with the new Teddy. Sorry!
2. How many stories will be available this year?
This year there are 5 software packages that are sold separately. Each Teddy Ruxpin software package contains two great adventures!

3. Can you help me fix or find parts/accessories for a Teddy Ruxpin or Mother Goose toy from the 80's?
BackPack Toys has no affiliation with the makers of the original cassette driven Teddy Ruxpin or Mother Goose from the 80's, we do not
have the ability to repair or sell replacement parts.
4. My 1980s Teddy Ruxpin doesn't work anymore. Can you fix him?
Unfortunately, since we are making Teddy with all new technology, we do not have the parts or capabilities to repair the
original Teddy.
5. Do you sell the tapes or costumes for the original Teddy Ruxpin?
Since BackPack Toys has no affiliation with the makers of the original Teddy Ruxpin, we do not sell tapes or accessories
available for the 1980s Teddy.
6. I have a Grubby from the 1980s and lost the cord that allows Teddy and Grubby to communicate. Can you sell me a new cord?
BackPack Toys did not manufacture the original Teddy Ruxpin or Grubby so we do not have the ability to sell replacement parts.
7. Will my 1980s Grubby work with the new Teddy?
No, since the new Teddy is digital, it is not compatible with the 80s Grubby.
8. Are you bringing back the Teddy Ruxpin cartoon series on DVD?

9. Are you bringing back Grubby?
There is always a possibility that we'll bring back Grubby but there are no definitive plans yet.
10. What happens if my Teddy stops talking mid-sentence?
It's time to change the batteries. Teddy's so excited to share his great adventures that he needs to refuel!
11. I need to change Teddy's batteries more often than expected, do you have any suggestions?
Be sure to shut Teddy off after each use. Teddy is never truly asleep until he is shut off. This will help preserve battery life.
