  • PRODUCT REGISTRATION
    To register your Teddy Ruxpin ®, complete the form above. Registering your product will help us to better serve you with new product information or if you have problems with Teddy.
  • LIMITED 90-DAY WARRANTY
    BackPack Toys International Ltd. warrants to the original purchaser of this product (Teddy Ruxpin Books and Adventure & Song Cartridge) that it is free from defect in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. BackPack Toys' sole liability and purchaser's sole remedy shall be, at BackPack Toys' option, to repair, replace or to refund the purchase price, free of charge, of any product that is returned postage paid with proof-of-purchase to its Customer Service Department. BackPack Toys Inc. has not authorized any entity or other person to make statements regarding the performance or quality of its products or to otherwise modify this warranty.
  • DISCLAIMER
    BackPack Toys Intl. Ltd. is not responsible for any merchandise that it does not receive or that is not returned in accordance with the following terms:
    •  We are not responsible for any losses in the mail while returning merchandise.
    •  Merchandise should be properly packed and insured with the carrier for the amount of purchase.
    •  Any misused item will be refused and returned.

    BackPack Toys Intl. Ltd. strives to serve our customers better than anyone else. Unfortunately, we can't accept all returns without questions or limitation. Thank you for honoring our return policies.

    LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
    THE RIGHTS SPECIFIED IN THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER FOR ANY CLAIM THAT THE PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL OR WORKMASHIP. BACKPACK TOYS INTL. LTD. SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER RIGHTS AND WARRANYIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE FULL EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW. BAKCPACK TOYS INTL. LTD. IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE BRANCH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES REGARDLESS OF WHETHER IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGE AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY.
  • YOUR RIGHTS UNDER STATE LAW
    Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or the exclusion or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and/or exclusion or the limitation of liability may not apply to you. This warranty give you specific legal rights, and may also have other legal rights that vary from state to state.
  • RETURN TERMS
    This warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear. If the items that you have purchased is defective, contact us within the warranty period and we will replace the defective item. Buyer is responsible for all the return shipping charges. Specific terms are:

    •  This warranty shall not be applicable and shall be void if the defect in the product has arisen through damage caused by tempering, accident, abuse, negligence, failure to follow instructions contained in "Care and Instructions", unauthorized repair or other causes unrelated to defective material or workmanship.
    •  For replacement, merchandise must be returned within 90 days of receipt, accompanied by the bill of sale.
    •  Returned items must be undamaged, in like-new condition. We carefully inspect returned items upon receipt before issuance of refunds or exchanges.
  • RETURN PROCEDURE
    1. Please DO NOT return your merchandise to the place of purchase.
    2. Do not return any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). To obtain a RMA number for your order contact us at customercare@teddyruxpin.com and explain the reason of return.
    3. For returns in the 90 days warranty, your Teddy Ruxpin must be sent back with a dated proof-of-purchase and displaying the appropriate Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All RMA numbers are valid for fourteen (14) days from their original date of issue. Returned packages displaying an invalid or expired RMA number will not be accepted. Please send returns back to us insured for the full purchase value. Teddy Ruxpin should be carefully packed to prevent any losses or damages in transit. Please include a letter describing the problem, place of purchase, your name, telephone number and full mailing address.
    4. Teddy Ruxpin must be returned with the books and Adventure and Song Cartridge that were included.

    After the 90-Day Warranty
    BackPack Toys Intl. Ltd. will repairs or replace merchandise that becomes inoperative following the expiration of the warranty. The cost of repair for your Teddy Ruxpin® is $40.00 plus $7.00 shipping and handling. Send your product freight prepaid, a check or money-order for $47.00 (DO NOT SEND CASH) (Please keep a copy for yourself). Dated proof-of-purchase is not required for paid repairs after the 90 day warranty.
